This notice explains how we handle personal data in connection with the LoadstarSoft website and the enquiries you send us through it. It does not cover any separate services we deliver under a client agreement, which are governed by that agreement.

What data we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email address and message (required), and your company name (optional).

Together with a submission, our form provider also processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser/user-agent details, the time of submission, and anti-spam and session metadata used to detect abuse.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data. Please do not include sensitive information in your message.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry.
  • To evaluate a potential engagement and discuss scope.
  • To maintain our business correspondence with you.
  • To prevent abuse of the form and keep the website secure.

Legal bases

Where your enquiry concerns steps taken at your request before entering a possible contract, we rely on GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

For general business enquiries, ongoing correspondence, abuse prevention and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) in operating and protecting our business and this website.

Who receives your data

Formspree processes contact-form submissions on our behalf and delivers them to our email inbox.

Microsoft Azure hosts the production website.

We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising purposes.

International transfers

Formspree may process data in the United States. Formspree states that it uses the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as its transfer safeguard for personal data transferred out of the EU/EEA.

How long we keep it

  • Submission history in Formspree (free plan) is retained for 30 days.
  • Enquiry emails and related business correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, evaluate or manage a potential business relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We delete or anonymise the information when it is no longer needed, subject to any contractual, accounting or other legal retention obligations.
  • Technical and security information is kept only for the limited period needed for website operation, security and our providers’ logging.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, do not operate a newsletter subscription, and do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies and similar technologies

The LoadstarSoft production website hosted on Microsoft Azure currently does not use cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising pixels or any other non-essential tracking technologies.

Strictly necessary technologies may be introduced where they are needed to deliver functionality you request, such as securing a form submission. If we later introduce analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required before any non-essential technology is activated.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability where applicable.

To exercise these rights, email contact@loadstarsoft.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at www.datatilsynet.dk.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access to our inbox and reputable processors. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

This website may contain links to third-party websites. If you follow an external link, the third party’s own privacy notice and practices apply. We are not responsible for how third-party websites handle personal data.

We may update this notice as our website or processing changes. The revised version will be published here with a new “last updated” date.
